Marriage Licence 9ct Yellow Gold Charm or Pendant with Stanhope Vintage 1965

A wonderful vintage 9ct yellow gold charm or pendant or charm to celebrate marriage dating from the mid 1960's. At this time charm bracelets were very popular as it allowed the wearer to create a unique item of jewellery. Still collectable today, still found hung as a charm from a bracelet or as a pendant from a necklace. The charm depicts a wedding ring with a scroll for the marriage certificate above, in the scroll is a stanhope but it cant be made out what if anything is on the stanhope. The English hallmark can be seen to the inside of the band, London assay with the date letter for the year 1965. A wonderful and unusual vintage gold charm.
