Horse Intaglio Agate Seal 9ct Gold Cased Fob Pendant Antique Georgian c1820

Fabulous quality to this intaglio agate seal of a horse drinking in this antique Regency 9ct yellow gold cased fob, pendant or charm dating from the Georgian period c1820. The agate seal is almost certainly earlier and possibly even Roman later mounted as was common during the Grand Tour period. Made from 9ct gold case, this means real 9ct gold cased, not plated, over another metal probably brass, there is no wear. Great condition to the seal please see the pictures and perfect for the equine lover. Traditionally fobs were found hanging from a gentleman's watch chain, but today are found hung as a pendant from a necklace as well as a charm from a bracelet. A wonderful addition to any collection of seals.
