Description
Traditionally found as a fob hanging from a gentleman's watch chain, but today hung as pendants or charms, this is a fantastic antique Regency 9ct yellow gold fob with an intaglio carnelian seal dating from the Georgian period circa 1820. To the buckle around the feather and cornucopia, horn of plenty, is the motto "May Britons ever enjoy". The seal itself is in in great condition please see the pictures. The Gold has been XRF tested. The fob is in wonderful condition and would add to any collection of seals.
Size 2.0 x 1.4 x 1.7 cm or 0.8 x 0.5 x 0.7 inches.
Weight 3.8 grams or 2.45 penny weight.
