Details: A fantastic and wonderfully designed antique regency period large Georgian 18ct yellow gold eagle bird mourning pendant set adorned with turquoise stones pave set in sterling silver c1830. The eagle features a locket to the reverse and as such was almost certainly a mourning pendant. The eyes of the eagle are set with a natural ruby and two old cut diamonds to the claws which also features pearls. The gold has been XRF tested as it is unmarked. A stunning eagle of mourning jewellery almost certainly austro-hungarian. This is a wonderful item that would make a perfect gift or addition to any collection.
