Details: A fantastic and wonderfully designed antique early georgian large sterling silver 'warwick' cruet set to include three muffinneers or pepperettes all hallmarked London 1767 by William Tuite and engraved with charming dog heraldic crests, superb heraldic crest to the central stand cartouche, nice clear hallmarks to the front. This stand has Rococo influences with the asymmetric scroll cartouche and four shell shaped feet. The central handle can be unscrewed for easier cleaning if necessary. The three silver casters are in the standard baluster form for the period and each one has a really hefty weight in the hand. This is a wonderful item that would make a perfect gift or addition to any collection. Condition Report: One of the peppers is only hallmarked to the top lid edge, The item is in good condition, all our items are quality conditioned prior to listings however some may have age related signs of wear commensurate with their antique status; please refer to the photos provided as they further inform condition.
