Simply stunning and a real statement antique long guard chain necklace set with garnet and rock crystal beads dating from the mid Victorian period circa 1860. made from 14ct yellow gold, marked to the link adjacent the clasp. To the one end is a bolt ring clasp, to the other a dog clip clasp, both are secure with good springs. The necklace contains 16 bead details, each detail consists of 2 garnet stone ends with a faceted rock crystal centre, generally all in good order, 1 tiny nibble to the edge of 1 garnet stone, the stones have been tested as real, great colours please see the pictures. A simply wonderful quality antique long guard necklace.
