Made by the very collectable charm maker Georg Jensen, this is a cute and charming vintage 9ct yellow gold charm or pendant of a dachshund dog dating from the late 1960's. At this time charm bracelets were very popular as it allowed the wearer to create a unique item of jewellery personal to them. Still collectable today, still found hanging from charm bracelets as well as a pendant from a chain necklace. Please note that this charm is hollow, there are 2 small air holes to the feet, these are a product of the manufacture. The English hallmark and makers mark can be seen to the one side, London assay with the date letter for the year 1968. Simply cute and charming.
