Details: A fantastic and wonderfully designed antique Charles II sterling silver large salver or serving dish with heraldic crest to the centre, ropework borders and paw feet clearly hallmarked to the top London 1680 by maker NL. A very fine and wonderfully crafted piece believed to have once been a presentation tazza as one can see the circular marks where that would have been attatched. The ropework border has a few minor dents and one very small split but generally the item is in excellent condition given its age. We cannot unfortunately identify who the makers mark NL refers to - please see Jackson's for reference citing the Edkins Collection. This is a wonderful item that would make a perfect gift or addition to any collection. The BOX pictured is for PRESENTATION ONLY and is NOT included in the listings but used to frame the pictures unless specifically stated otherwise.
Condition Report: The item is in good condition, all our items are quality conditioned prior to listings however some may have age related signs of wear commensurate with their antique status; please refer to the photos provided as they further inform condition. Postage & Returns. While we operate a 3 working day shipping window we aim to have all items posted within 24 hours of purchase. All UK items are shipped using Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For Service excluding items exceeding a value of £250 which will be sent via Special Delivery. International orders are similarly dispatched within our specified timeframe and are sent using the Royal Mail international tracked and signed service.
We operate a no quibble returns policy within 14 days of receipt of the item; while aiming to returns where possible so please ensure you study the description, photos, dimensions and weights of items prior to purchasing.
