Item Details: A stunning antique Queen Victoria 'In Memoriam' boxed set to include a 15ct yellow gold framed portrait miniature depicting the young Queen Victoria finished with exceptional quality. The picture shows the young queen in profile with beautiful blue eyes and a gold necklace, signed indistinctly to the bottom of the picture with the painters name. The back of the frame is adorned with blue guilloche enamel and has a locket section for hair. The gold frame has been XRF tested as 15ct-18ct. The portrait is surrounded by the coinage of 1901, to include 10 coins comprised of a full sovereign, half sovereign, penny, half-penny, farthing, threepence, sixpence, shilling, florin and half crown. All the coins are dated 1901 and engraved 'G.S' likely the initials of the original owner. The item is included with its original fitted box which features a back easel so the item can be displayed.
