Details: A fantastic and wonderfully designed antique Victorian 18ct yellow gold mourning ring adorned throughout with black enamel, the reverse of the shank bearing the words 'In Memory Of'. The central cartouche is set with a black hardstone carved flower cameo surrounding by seed pearls symbolic of tears. The interior of the band is set with a small locket to hold a section of hair and is engraved with the words 'Emma Jann, Died 7th Dec 1874, Aged 65'. The ring is fully hallmarked for London 1874. Minor enamel loss in areas and a small chip to the central hardstone. This is a wonderful item that would make a perfect gift or addition to any collection.
