Description
Simply stunning vintage Norwegian guilloche enamel on sterling silver 'Midnight Sun' brooch or pin by the collectable maker Aksel Holmsen dating from the 1950's. The silver and makers mark can be seen to the rear. Good secure clasp and pin. Very minor pitting to the enamel from use and wear, all as expected for the age of the brooch. A wonderful winter scene to the front.
Size 3.2 x 1.4 cm or 1.2 x 0.5 inches.
Weight 3.6 grams or 2.3 penny weight.
